They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks and that may very well be true. But I'm game to give it a go. This is my first attempt with blogging and since I'm not the most computer savvy person there may be some glitches here and there until I get the hang of it.
For those of you who know me, you know I am passionate for lots of things, handmade things specifically. I create jewelry, scrapbook, cook, garden and have an affinity for chickens and goats. Over the years I have dabbled with a great many things. A product of the '60's, my inner hippie has never left me. Living off the land was actually harder in many ways than I would have imagined but I loved it immensely and still long for it. Though somewhat of a "jack of all trades" I profess to be a master of none. I would like to share some of what I have experienced over the years and what is going on now in my life with you and hope it will bring you some enjoyment.
Currently, I have a tiny studio in Griffith, IN where I teach various jewelry making and creative arts techniques. My life to say the least is busy. The mind is always going, but the body can't always keep up these days.
I invite you to journey with me in this new adventure. Who knows where it may lead!
Sue, welcome to Blogland. I never thought I would do this either. But, I will say this is the best thing. More people see my blog than my website. It is great being able to add to it as often as you want. It is a great tool for advertising and I think this will be an asset to you so that people can see what you do. Have fun and keep being the jewel that you are!!
ReplyDeleteYes, welcome to blogland! I've got a couple of blogs, but they aren't of much interest to anyone but myself, but I'm learning different formats and designs, so if you need help, let me know. Great job so far!
ReplyDeleteWay to go, Sue!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea so I can know what you are up to if I don't get to the shop. Sarah
